For our summer vacation, we are thinking about doing a XC trip via the northern route. Due to time constraints, we were thinking I-90W from basically Chicago all the way to Seattle. To those who have done I-90: Is it better/same/worse than interstates like I-80W? And if it truly blows what are some good back roads to take for at least parts of the trip? We’re trying to have a nice drive but we also need to be conscious of time. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your suggestions!
