How do you maintain friendships or human connections with people you meet during your solo travels?
When you travel you often meet new people e.g. in hostels or you meet people when taking tours, and often when you are with them for a reasonable period of time, you connect with them. You may connect via Facebook or whatsapp, but after the trip is over, I find that the connection kind of dwindles. There is nothing to force you together and so there is nothing to talk about. I am just wondering how all of you keep in contact with people you connect with during your travels? Do you try to meet up with them at their home towns at a later date? Do you ask them to travel with you someplace?
