Colorado in October
My fiancée and I were considering honeymooning in Colorado in mid-October next year. From what I’ve read, peak fall foliage is late September to early October, so we’ll probably miss out on that, which is okay. We are keen on staying at a resort or a nice hotel somewhere with mountain views, preferably. We love to hike, but we know those higher elevation hikes will probably be snow covered, which is also okay. We were looking for recommendations on towns to stay in, places to explore, and good trails/hikes that maybe won’t be snow-covered mid-October. We want to relax and just enjoy the views but do also want to hit the trails a little bit. We’re open to the more desert-like areas of Colorado as well. Thanks!
