Philly to Los Angeles
So it's been 4 years since I've moved from Los Angeles to Philly, and now that school's over, it's time to move back. However, when I first moved over to Philly, I flew over and shipped my car but now I will be road tripping back. It's kinda a spur of the moment decision so my thoughts are everywhere at the moment.
I've done the OKC -> LA trip via the 40 many times, and would like to try a different route. Maybe one that goes through Chicago, Denver, Vegas, etc. I don't have much experience driving on my own, so I will probably not want to drive more than 8 hours a day. Any recommendations for stops beside the big cities that I've mentioned that is also along the path? Google map says 40 hours so it sounds like a 5-day trip.
I'm into hiking and camping, so if there's a nice national park that's worth the drive let me know. And weather shouldn't be bad around this time right? going through Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, etc.
Also gonna change my oil before this trip too, what else do you recommend in terms of car maintenance?
Thanks in advance
