Starting a National Parks (Western USA) road trip today. First time roadtripper, looking for general advice.
Starting in SF, going east through Yosemite, Grand Canyon, Bryce Zion, then into Colorado, north through Wyoming and Montana, west through BC and south through Washington and Oregon. The route is based on the major national parks along that route, but we (my gf and I) are not attached to any particular route or specific stops. We have 1 month.
I was just hoping to get some general advice, considering this is my first road trip. I know the National Parks are CRAZY during the summer and was wondering what tips/tricks can help me navigate that. Anything else I might not be prepared for? Stops I might be thinking about that I should hit up? Anything I should absolutely skip? General road trip tips? A little anxious, but mostly excited!
