GF and I are going to CDA in August for a friends wedding and flying back home from Seattle. We have about 5 free days after the wedding and would like to find a spot or two that would be worth checking out and staying at. Doesn't have to be exactly on the way to Seattle, but nothing too far. Could be something along the way or a place to stay for a few nights.

We do enjoy little hikes and National/State parks so we know there are places around there that we will enjoy, but looking for any recommendations as well.
