NJ to California road trip
Hi everyone. So I'm planning a road trip from NJ to California and back in 17 days. Key spots we're trying to hit are Yellowstone/Grand Tetons, Los Angeles, Grand Canyon, Zion, and home. We were debating going through Oregon and hitting Crater Lake and then going the southern coast of California and hitting Redwoods. Or we would go SW through Yosemite and head straight to San Fran then head on to LA.
It's going to be 4 people total and we plan to drive basically straight through the beginning and end in the interest of spending as much time as possible out west.
So basically, is this completely unreasonable? We are all good on money and such, but being our first road trip we want t know how unreasonable this may be, what to expect, any tips, etc.
Thank you all for your help
