Hi all,

I have a job offer waiting for me in Washington and I live in New York. East to west coast, I'd love to drive it (after partially moving in). I think I want to take the southern route, how do I start the planning process? I'd love to do it over the course of 1-2 weeks and have some nice pictures and great experiences on the way!

I know I have some friends who are planning to accompany me, but they probably don't have the 2 weeks vacation time like I would. I'd love to hit the airports of different states so they can fly in and fly out, almost like a rotating car system! It'd be great to share the experience with 8 different friends in a 4 person car. I'm jumping the gun here, but I'd love some tips and tricks for something this big in my life. :)
