Africa Itinerary Advice - Zimbabwe, Malawi, Tanzania, Kenya, Ethiopia, Egypt!
I've started planning out my itinerary that will start in Africa in December and then travel up into the Middle East. I'd greatly appreciate any advice/suggestions including how long I should spend in each destination below (flying out December 1st, all prices in Aussie Dollars):
Melbourne > Harare ($930 Flight) Harare > Lilongwe ($200 Flight) Lilongwe > Dar Es Salaam ($200 Flight) Dar Es > Nairobi ($50 Bus) Nairobi > Addis Ababa ($150 Flight) Addis Ababa > Cairo ($300 Flight)
I'm thinking a week in each destination at the moment, with a bit longer in Egypt. And the above prices are just to travel between each country, I'll definitely be leaving the main cities and travelling as much as I can to different points of interest in each country :)
I'd like to take a bus where possible but so far from what I've seen online the only safe bus route in the above itinerary is from Dar Es Salaam to Nairobi, let me know if I'm mistaken! Thank you everyone in advance.
