Last year I visited CA but couldn’t do the activities I wanted properly. Yosemite was closed due to a wildfire, HWY 1 was closed because of a landslide, and San Francisco had terrible foggy weather. This was in mid-late summer last year.

I plan on going again in June to retry going t Yosemite, McWay Falls, and SF.

What’s the likelihood of a wildfire in the LA / Yosemite area?

I know HWY 1 is still closed but I’ll be near Monterey and I think I can travel south on it to McWay Falls? Do I need anything special to be able to visit? Anything I should know about before I go?

How often is San Francisco foggy around mid June? We couldn’t even see the bridge last year due to the fogginess.

I hope things go better this time around. It’s a 30hr road trip from Chicago. Thanks.
