Should I get a van, RV, Truck & trailer/pop up for a one way trip across the US

I'm finishing my Peace Corps service and heading back to America. The idea is to fly into the pacific northwest then take a 3 or 4 month road trip back to Florida occasionally volunteering in exchange of room and board for a few weeks at a time.

I am becoming overwhelmed by all the options and I don't know anyone with expertise in this to ask.

Each have some pros and cons I see:

Van (real or ClassB)- park anywhere, easy to drive, I don't mind getting a Planet Fitness membership for showers and workouts :) Can be used if gas mileage is decent enough as a daily driver or as a back up to a motorcycle once back in FL. Easier to insure than an RV? Cons- generally less outfitted, used tend to have very high mileage, decently renovated ones seem kinda pricey in comparison to the other options

Small RV- bathroom included, other creature comforts (generator, water, etc,) keep it for a long time for trips, actually live in if needed, friends can travel with me, comfort Cons- parking, still need to buy a vehicle when I finish, perhaps a little more expensive and I don't want to finance something that can't be driven daily, more legal restrictions with parking/owning?

Truck combo- pop up trailers are cheap and I need a daily driver vehicle anyways. Now I have a car + can just park the pop up trailer/ or trailer topper for when I want it, Pop-Ups seem cheap and can be towed by mostly anything with a hitch- so I can use that car after as a daily driver Cons- poor gas mileage? high miles? Stuck with a dually that eats gas as a daily driver afterward?

So the things I don't know that I'm wondering about are buying the car in another state than my residence, tags and all things legal... I'm open to just selling the whole thing once I get back to Florida, or keeping it. I'm not mechanical, so I'd need AAA or something just in case because I'd be driving 90% of the time alone. I'd like to spend between $5k-$15k (15k-ish only for a truly good match).

What have you done and what would you suggest? Any things you can see that I'm not thinking of?
