Roadtrip Memory
Can someone here help a fellow tripper out?
Back in 1995 I was visiting my grandparents in St. Louis for the summer. We drove back to Massachusetts. Along the way somewhere in lower upstate New York we encountered a scene that has stuck with me to this very day.
We were coming down a pretty steep hill. At the bottom of said hill there was a stream and stone bridge. There appeared to be a stone house on the other side of the stream, to the right. It was near West Point, I looked on Google Maps, in that area but couldn't find anything. Then again, I was 6 years old.
Where was this? I know it was in Upstate NY. I'd like to visit it again.
