Realistic food budget for the Balkans?

Hi there, I am off to the balkans in June for a month and I am not too sure how much to expect to spend on food and drink.

One of the biggest pulls to the balkans for me was the cheap grilled meats and alcohol as I imagine for many of you as well ;).

I plan on eating out realistically twice a day with most of my hostels offering free breakfast. I have no problems cooking once in a while whilst I am abroad but I would prefer not to.

I am thinking 20-30 euros a day for food and alcohol should be enough - how does that sound?
