Potential Road Trip Itinerary
Hello! Next January, my girlfriend and I are planning on taking a road trip out west, leaving from Baltimore. Below is a potential itinerary that we came up with. We will be driving VW Jetta. We have never taken a road trip before (both of us have driven about 4 hours by ourselves at most) and we were wondering if this is realistic. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
Day 1 - leave 3am, drive to Concordia, Missouri. Arrive 7pm.
Day 2 - leave Concordia at 3am. Drive to Arches. Arrive 10pm at Arches. Sorry.
Day 3 - Arches National Park
Day 4 - Arches National Park
Day 5 - Canyonlands National Park
Day 6 - Canyonlands National Park. Drive to Capitol Reef. 2 1/2 hours.
Day 7 - Capitol Reef
Day 8 - Capitol Reef. Leave after Dinner to head to Bryce Canyon. 2 Hours.
Day 9 - Bryce Canyon
Day 10 - Leave early morning to drive to Zion. 1 hour and 20 minute drive. Spend the day in Zion.
Day 11 - Zion
Day 12 - Leave Zion to drive to Grand Canyon. 3 1/2 hours. Spend the day at the South Rim. Explore visitors center.
Day 13 - Hike the Bright Angel Trail.
Day 14 - Leave for Antelope Canyon. 2 hour drive. Spend the day in Antelope Canyon.
Day 15 - Depart for Home. Stop for a motel when tired.
Day 16 - Return Home.
