Money worries in Australia
I’m worried I won’t have enough money to travel Australia. I’m landing in Bangkok on the 2nd November, and staying there for around 3 weeks. From there, I will be flying in to Sydney around late Nov/early Dec. My plan is to travel up the east coast of Australia using Greyhound, stopping off as often as possible. Throughout this time, I will exclusively be staying in hostels, both in Thailand and Australia. By the time I’m due to fly out, I should have around £3500GBP/$4700(approx.). My aim is to spend as much time out there as possible, 3 months minimum hopefully, but if I can extend my stay, then even better. I’m completely worried about not having enough money to participate in activities/excursions, as this will be my first time leaving Europe and first time travelling solo. I’m arriving in Australia on a work/travel VISA (which has already been paid for), but I’m not convinced I’ll be able to easily find temporary work. Can anyone help ease my mind? I’m freaking out!
