Major Crossroads for RTW trip
Hey Friends,
Four months deep into my solo rtw trip, and currently sitting in Budva, Montenegro. Looking for some advice for my next four months. My general plan is to eventually get to SE Asia to teach English(already certified), but the dilemma stems from a wedding in Spain this September. Have about 4.5k USD left in the bank, and am torn between the following two choices.

Continue to Istanbul as planned within a month or so, then fly to SE Asia($300-500). Travel area for a bit, semi-settle somewhere on non contract part time work, and fly back to Spain($300-500) for wedding. Backpack or fly straight back($300-500) to SE Asia to settle into more permanent living/work situation after wedding. If I teach in South Korea, as have a connection with a manager there, then I could have flight paid for on my way there from Spain.

Hang around Balkans(Schengen visa is up until August). Find a city with a low cost of living, work in hostel/workaway, and do freelance work/online teaching($10 an hour, unreliable hours) until wedding. 28 year old male so somewhere that is fun, decent sized, and has a lot to offer in terms of hiking, entertainment, etc. Considering Bosnia, Bulgaria, Albania, Romania, or Serbia. Maybe a month or so at a couple different spots. Basically just try to stabilize financially, and maybe even claw together a couple hundred extra or so. Fly from Istanbul to Spain($100), and then fly East($300) as planned to set up after traveling for a bit.
I'm wondering if the general lower cost of living in SE Asia vs Balkans evens out the extra flight costs. Initially I thought I'd be in SE Asia by this time already, but have been moving slow, I started in Ireland in January. Now with just four months until the wedding, I'm wondering which plan makes the most sense financially, and in terms of well rounded travel experience. Any input would be greatly appreciated here.
