I'm going to Spain for a week starting this weekend!
Oh god I've been meaning to do this for at least three years now.
I didn't expect that I'd get this window so suddenly however, and as a result I'm scrambling to visit a dozen cities even though I'm sure I can't. I'm landing in Madrid, but can change my location if need be.
The cities that interest me are:
- Madrid
- Barcelona
- Porto
- Lisbon
- Seville
- Fuertaventura (Canary Islands)
- Melilla (near Morocco)
- Granada
- Segovia
- Cordoba
- Valencia
And Palma.
I know that aside from the big 4 (Madrid, Barcelona, Porto and Lisbon) there are only so many cities I can fit into my itinerary. I'm most curious about Melilla due to its location, and Fuerteventura due to what I heard are some incredible landscapes and biodiversity. That gives me just a day or two to visit the load of other cities I have on up there. I'm still trying to find the best plan to fit all this, so any help on making an itinerary would be hugely appreciated.
Which ones would you most recommend I visit in the week? Any must-see, historical, natural or obscure spots to hunt out?
