I’m finally going home after 10 months of travel
After 10 months traveling over 5 continents and visiting just above 40 countries, I’ve finally booked a ticket home.
My remaining route takes me from Kraków to Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels, Luxembourg City and onwards to Paris. If you’re around be sure to let me know, I’ll be happy to buy you a drink.
Paris was also my first solo travel destination, 10 years ago (at the age of 21). Ten years later I’ve visited 73 countries (soon to be 76) all across the globe.
I really look forward to a nice bed and a stable routine again, as traveling this long is exhausting. I’ve rarely ever stayed the same place more than four days, so it’s a very different style of travel than “expat mode” people staying in the same place months at the time.
I’m also at the end of my budget, with maybe €2000 left before I have to do a hard stop. So happy I actually managed to stay within budget and still retain enough money to rejoin society (move, furnish, etc.)
