Flight got cancelled. What should I do now to get compensation?
So my flight to Havana in a month with Eurowings got cancelled. They didn’t tell me why and they can’t offer a replacement flight.
I’m a bit confused by the email. They offer to offer compensation if I book my flight independently. OR get a refund. I’m confused as I thought I should be entitled to a full refund and additional compensation.
Now I have to pay £380 (cancelled flight was £200) to get a different flight on the same date. Should I book this flight now and ask for compensation plus a full refund later? I rang customer service and they said I’ll have to email them instead.
What should I do to max my compensation to cover additional costs?
