End of my 5 month amazing trip SEA and sad and happy 19M
19m. This sub inspired me too go solotravel and been a longtime lurker before i took the step. So packed my bag and left to bangkok in december. Anyway now when im going home in 2 days im just looking back at pictures and thinking about the experience and how fun i had and how many friends i made. I met the most amazing people, even one i ended up traveling 2-3 months with and now splitting up it hit me hard. It was the last days i started to realize that im actually going home both felt a relief and also sad.
At the same time i really miss my bed after sleeping in different hostels and i the small things back home and i would not want to keep traveling too without a break atleast.
Anyway feels like a depression is hitting me now when im going home again to same routine and have to work when i been living in paradise with the most amazing food and beaches and nature, how do i adapt into a normal robot again after doing what i been doing? Felt so free..
Just wanted off my chest, cheers
