We're doing a Lake Superior Circle trip and I'm trying to figure out the best route for the Keweenaw Peninsula. We're starting from Ontonagon, and are currently planning on taking 26/41 up to Eagle Harbor, staying on 26 until we get to the Brockway Mountain Drive until we get to Copper Harbor and then taking 41 all the way down. We are considering going over to Bete Gris and following Gay Lac La Belle Road / Lake Linden - Gay Rd back to 26 and then 41.

We're thinking about going to Bete Grise because of the "singing sand" legend. Is it worth the trip out there?

Which is the more scenic route for the trip out? 41 or Gay Lac La Belle?
