[20M] First time in Europe: France/Switzerland/Italy Itinerary

Hi everyone!

I just started planning for a 3 week solo-backpacking trip to Europe next February-March. I would like to focus more on scenery, architecture and culture, and less so on nightlife or clubbing. Do help to critique my itinerary! :D

Budget: 3000 USD

• Day 0: Fly into Paris

• Day 1-4: Paris (Sightseeing, with a day trip to Palace of Versailles), Flight to Zurich Airport

• Day 5-6: Lucerne (Sightseeing, with one day dedicated to the Golden Round Trip)

• Day 7: Travel to Lauterbrunnen with a visit to the Aage Gorge and Reichenbach falls (Meiringen) along the way

• Day 8-9: Sightseeing (with a day dedicated to visiting Jungfraujoch via cogwheel railway)

• Day 10-12: Murren (Via Ferreta, paragliding, thrill walk at Bilg and rest)

• Day 13: Travel to Florence (Advice on transportation means?)

• Day 14-16: Florence (Sightseeing, with a day trip to Cinque Terre)

• Day 17-20: Rome (Sightseeing)

• Day 21: Return home

This will be my first time going on a solo trip so I'm not entirely sure if the itinerary's workable. I'm also unsure if the budget I've set aside is sufficient for the trip. Do let me know what you guys think! I'm open to adding (Zermatt/ Mountain hostel at Gimmelwald/ Naples / Venice etc) or removing destinations, so long as it doesn't exceed the budget.

Thanks so much!
