Would love some advice about Driving form Glasgow to Skye
Hey guys technically I been to The highlands before but I only did a tour and solo. This time i'll maybe roadtripping with a friend, if not. I'll be going solo
Starting this trip 2 week of July The plan is to rent a car form Glasgow airport and take off there
Nine days to explore.
Fist stop will be Crianlarich for the views. any ideas what else to do there ?
Next Fort William what to do in town? I know the bridge is near by. And some nice sights.
Kyle to get to Portree
As for Portree anything special to see do there ? other then just checking out the beautiful town ?
Then off to Skye for the rest of the week. I know the drive is 5 hours but how should I split my time between these places ? I was thinking spending 2/3 days checking these places out then heading to sky for hiking and camping the rest of the week. so any opinions would be great thanks :)
Would love some know what the best and cheapest rental car company is also:)
