Traveling solo when in a new relationship?
How does one approach this situation? I'm unsure of what to say, if anything.
We started dating in January. We weren't anything serious, and I went on a trip to Maui. All was well, no issues, but now we have gotten more serious and gotten closer. She's opened up to me about how her ex cheated on her when he went to move to another city for school.
She knows I enjoy traveling, and have always gone solo. She wouldn't be able to come with me either on this go, since its literally a month away. I sent her a snapchat of the booking itinerary as I was organizing my flight and captioned it, "Do I dare?" and she just said, "Guess you've been bit by the travel bug." No real response, however I don't think she would ever tell me straight up she's uncomfortable with me going.
Outside of reassuring her that I'm not sleeping around, is there anything I can do (or that you've done), to maybe ease the stress of such a situation?
