Seattle to LA!
My fiance and I are planning to take about 12 days to drive from Seattle to LA in a camper van stopping and camping along the way. We want to minimize the number of really long drives we have to take and want to hit all the major natural beauty spots. We've been to Seattle and SF so don't need to spend time in those cities, but want to spend a couple days in Portland.
Questions:

Is it worth going to both Olympic National Park and Mt. Rainier? They look fairly similar? Which one do you prefer?

Are we missing any great spots? Any recommendations?
Right now we're thinking
Day 1: Seattle to Mt. Rainier
Day 2: Full day and night at Mt. Rainier
Day 3: Mt. Rainier to Portland
Day 4: Full day and night in Portland
Day 5: Portland to Mt. Hood
Day 6: Full day and night in Mt. Hood
Day 7: Mt. Hood to Crater Lakes
Day 8: Full day and night in Crater Lakes
Day 9: Crater Lakes to Monterrey (this is our longest individual drive - 8 hours. Might stop in the redwoods in between for a few hour break)
Day 10: Half day in Monterrey, drive to Big Sur
Day 11: Day and night in Big Sur
Day 12: Big Sur to LA
Any thoughts?
