Rome and Barcelona advice
Hi there, I'll go on my first trip in 8 days to Rome for a week, and wanted to "live in the moment" but I'm kinda panicking right now about my itinerary. I'll stay at a airbnb the first few days. And will remain the last 4 days in the Yellow hostel (recommended by some folks on reddit). I've never been in Rome before as a tourist. I've never traveled solo before. Not sure what to expect. Social awkwardness with solo dining and stuff.. Is it okay to chat with locals? Would I greet them in Italian and continue in English etc etc. I'm not socially awkward but I'm not big on small talk.. Same story for Barcelona. In september I'll be there and I have no idea what to expect..
Hoping for some answers. Sorry for bad formatting but this is written on a phone.
Dates rome: 17-24 April, I'm planning on exploring the city and photograph a lot, and enjoy the cuisine. Already got my place to stay and the "well known" spots like the colloseum and such.
Barcelona 2-7 Sept. And only thing planned so far is a day to Valencia and join up a course to make Paella and photograph the city.
