Looking for help on trip from Calgary to Chicago
Hey guys. Looking to go from Emerald Lake to Chicago (our way back) and plan to stop once or twice on the way back so we don't have to drive more than 8-12 hrs at a time (we can make just one stop but I'd prefer two around the 8-9 hr mark in between.
This is what google maps recommends on the way back. So I would like some advice to stop by to spend the night, but also to spend a few hours maybe seeing the sights. Mostly nature. We want to take some pictures.
To give you an idea of what we're looking for: on the way to Emerald lake we plan to stop by Deadwood, SD for the day, Yellowstone and Glacier Lake National Park. I used Emerald Lake Lodge since it came up, but we'll probably stay somewhere in Banff. We plan to go in early June.
