Paris Trip in August - Anyone been?
First solo trip! I'm taking the plunge, saying goodbye to my paychecks, and just doing it. I've done research, I've looked up places to meet people, and I have a few questions. (Background: Am 20 year old female from Chicago, AirBnb close to Arc de Triomphe, doing 5 nights and 6 days in Paris starting August 17.)
1) I'm staying alone in an AirBnB. Does anyone know of hostels I can maybe go hang out at anyway - some websites say there's hostels where you can drink with travelers even if you don't stay there and I'm wondering which ones. 2) Any specific meetup groups you've used for Paris and solo traveling? 3) I know there's people saying selfie stick for getting photos of yourself but I want artsy photos of me... I'm going to PARIS after all. Any more tips for good photos or meeting people that want to exchange taking photos of each other?
