I'm nervous, I'll admit it. I'm an early 20s female and I have a couple weeks vacation time saved up, so I've been researching and I think Hawaii is where I want to go for a week. I've been looking at Kauai.

I have a $3500 budget and five days to spend there. I've found airbnbs that are around $60-100 a night, the only major expense is airfair ($1100).

Can I rent a car? Should I rent a bike instead? Should I just stay around the airport or venture out? Is this a good 'first time solo' trip?
