City Hopping Belgium?

I'm trying to decide if I should legit city hop around Belgium (Brussels, Ghent, Bruges and/or Antwerp), or just stick to one city? I've heard various things and wanted to get more input.

I haven't done any real trips before- I'm starting in Galway (flying into Dublin) and ending in Salerno (Amalfi Coast, flying out of Rome) and taking 105 days to do it.

I have about a $100/day (USD) budget. I was mostly trying to do Belgium because it's between France and Netherlands, along with alllll of the chocolate. I don't really have any other ideas for it (so if you have recommendations, please advise tho I plan on mostly just figuring out what to do as I go). I like food, alcohol, pretty scenery and castles/historic landmarks. Not big on museums.

Anyone have any advice? I technically only have ~5 days (tho I can extend it some if needed) before making my way to Amsterdam.
