First time traveling. Going to Malmo and Copenhagen

Hey everyone! I'm having a meditation retreat in June. I'll fly to Malmo (cheapest flight) and go to Copenhagen airport where our bus will be waiting.

After we finish with the retreat, I will be at Copenhagen airport by 2PM. I will go to Copenhagen by bus/train and return in the evening to Malmo. The day after I will go sightseeing in Malmo and my return flight is in the evening, at 8 PM.

Do you have any tips regarding transportation? I am a bit worried about taking so many busses and trains back and forth.

Do both countries accept Euros?

Do they have some kind of border control when going by train from Malmo to Copenhagen?

What are some of the best places to visit in such a short time frame?

Any other tips are welcome as well.
