Around the Black Sea - Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine
My actual dream would be an all-round, multi nation, comprehensive travel around the Balkan and the Black Sea coast.
But reality is harsher, as I have a job and only 14 days of summer holidays to my disposal.
Adulting is hard. I miss student life, damn it.
Anyway, while doing the whole itinerary in such a limited time and without a driving licence is probably impossible, I decided to get to it chunk by chunk, starting in Bulgaria and finishing in Ukraine for my first stretch.
I am particularly interested in rural realities, folklore and local traditions, so I would prefer spending more time in smaller places rather than big city centers.
I am planning to sleep in a tent, travel only by bus, hitchhiking and feet, and chat up any friendly looking rock I find on my path.
I have gone solo before, but not for such an extended period of time, so I am pretty excited and deep into the sorta-planning-but-actually-daydreaming phase.
So did anybody do a similar route? Is there anything I really shouldn't miss out or that I really should know? Is it too much ground to cover in such a short time?
