Advice for solo travel through Australia
Hi everyone, looking for some sound advice on traveling through Australia. Some background on me: I'm in my mid-20s, and am finishing up a 3 month solo trip in SE Asia.
I'm planning on traveling for 2 months in Oz starting next month. There are a number of options I've read about, which can be a bit overwhelming. The campervans sound like a great option. I love road trips and the outdoors, though I have limited camping experience. I know greyhound buses are a good option. Would renting a campervan be worth it, and a cost effective option for 2 months vs the bus?
Also, being in my mid-20s, it's nice socializing with a similarly aged crowd. I've heard the buses to be full of 18/19 year old gap year travelers.
Would love some insight from fellow travelers. I've seen ride sharing is quite common as well, but it may be difficult to do that long term. Any tips are greatly appreciated!
