I originally thought I'd have longer and planned to visit Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Colombia.

Due to time and money constraints, I can only spend 5 weeks max traveling and need help deciding where to go!

I have a trek booked on the Inca trail, so Peru is for sure. I'm thinking I'll spend 2 or 3 weeks there.

Then I have it narrowed down to Ecuador and Colombia. I want to spend time on the beach, do a little partying, meet new people, and speak as much Spanish as possible (currently conversational).

(I know I could spend the whole 5 weeks in Peru but I'm not willing to do that, definitely planning to visit another country.)

What are your suggestions?

Also - I have a week to kill in Peru before I need to be cuzco. Any recommendations if where to go to maximize my time in the country?
