25m, UK. Got 5 weeks worth of leave booked this summer, where should I go?
Hey guys so I’m a 25 year old guy, hoping to do some mostly (maybe entirely) solo travelling this summer. I’m based in the U.K., so have mainly been looking at European destinations but would be open to destinations further afield.
Where I’ve been previously- So as an adult I’ve done a lot of travelling around the Middle East and a bit around the U.K. Due to my university degree and work schedule I’ve not been able to travel much apart from to the Middle East to see my family.
Length- I’ve got about 2 weeks each in May and July and then a week in August as well.
Budget - I’ve saved up a bit but would hopefully not be spending more than 4K in total. I mean if spending a bit more gives me a way better experience then sure.
Climate - It’s been a long winter, so I want a decent amount of time at some beaches/warmer places.
Interests- Meeting some locals and other travellers, just interesting people in general. A bit of partying would be fun too, ideally on the beach/boat parties. Cultural activities would be good too.
So far the more definite places I’ve been considering are Amsterdam and Berlin. I’m also flirting with the idea of maybe Nice, Bodrum in Turkey, Norway. I’m not really sure; so would really appreciate some advice otherwise I’ll probably just randomly choose some places haha
