I was thinking Cambodia / Laos, and then finishing with 3 days in Bali. But there are just too many options. Should I spend my time island hopping in Indonesia? I can usually handle a few days of a beach, but I'd want more. I like to be active in addition to resting on a beach. Want to rule out Vietnam and Thailand and Japan (will do those later in life). Any suggestions? I'm a fairly experienced solo traveler but have never traveled in this part of the world alone before.
