~Two Weeks in Argentina, looking for some feedback.
Trip is next month, intend to fly between locations. My budget is not unlimited ($5k USD, not including flights), but its enough that I can avoid shady hostels and afford a few fun activities. Currently split between
Option 1:
-
4 days Buenos Aires (hotel, museums, culture tour)
-
4 days Mendoza (vineyard housing, basic bro wine tour, horseback riding maybe)
-
4 days Ushuaia (hotel, day hikes and museums)
Option 2:
-
6 days Buenos Aires
-
6 days Mendoza
I like the outdoors but not wanting to do another expedition (right now). I DO want to do day trips in Ushuaia and familiarize myself with the area for future trips. Low key concerned though, because itll be autumn/winter and Im not sure if I'll be able to enjoy the area this late in the season. I've checked the weather almanac for the area and its not really too bad, but Im wondering if I should just wait and come back in Argentine spring. Im mostly used to high desert hiking and swampland, never done glacier/ coastal mountain.
Is April to late to visit the end of the world?
Ps - any other pieces of advice/ recommendations are welcome. I've never been to Argentina before, input is appreciated.
