traveling to France in early June - need help with my itinerary!
Hi! I’m heading back to France in early June and am seriously struggling to figure out an itinerary that make the most of my time. I’ll be there June 4 through 13 with accommodations set up in Paris for the first 3 nights since I had very limited time there during my first visit.
I have a few stops in mind — Bayeux, Rouen, Colmar, Strasbourg, Avignon, and Orléans, but given my limited time it doesn’t make sense to try to hit all these stops. There might also be areas I hadn’t considered...
I’m mostly interested in (medieval) history, food and wine, and getting acquainted with the local culture where I can. With that said where would be the 1-2 cities/towns I could visit to really experience everything they have to offer?
If this is too vague I really apologize! I’ve considered a few different options already and am just really, really struggling to make this work. Thanks in advance!
