Southern Spain & Portugal Itinerary Advice (26/M)
I'm planning a 3 week solo trip through southern Spain and Portugal for the (tentative) dates of May 7-30. Those dates are still flexible, and I can add or subtract a day or two.
I'm mostly wondering 1) whether I am spending too many, or too few days in any of these cities, and 2) whether I would be missing out on any essential cities nearby. I want to experience these places at a relatively leisurely pace, so I would prefer not to be travelling every other day.
I would also appreciate any recommended activities, sights, day-trips, food, or drinks (I am particularly interested in drinking as much good wine as possible) in these cities.
My proposed Itinerary is:
London [4 nights] (I have to fly in and out of London, from Canada)
(fly to) Madrid [5 nights] (day trip to Toledo)
Seville [4 nights] (day trip to Cadiz or Jerez)
Lagos [2 nights]
Lisbon [3 nights]
Porto [3 nights] (day trip to Guimaraes)
(fly to) London [3 nights]
Thanks!
