Should I push to visit Petra/Jordan?
Hi all, I'm in Israel right now having just finished Birthright. I have 30 days until a return flight to the US out of Rome. I was planning on heading westward thru Istanbul/Greece/Croatia to Italy.
I'm super burnt out and exhausted from birthright having already been on a bus nonstop for 10 days. The easiest way to get to Petra seems to be a 1- or 2-day group tour but I'm dreading the thought of another looong bus ride and demanding schedule.
But since I'm already nearby, I feel guilty to not jump on the opportunity. Do folks think I should take a rest day and suck it up? Are there more "chill" slow travel ways to visit Jordan and Petra safely as a solo female without having to do an insane group tour?
Just looking for a little moral support and a push in either direction as I'm stuck! Ty!
