Hi /r/roadtrip,

Me (Danish, 20M) and a friend of mine same age are heading to southern- and eastern Europe for a roadtrip on our own for the first time next month (planning to go for around 2 months) as a part of our "gap" year where we've spent the first 9 months saving up. We're lucky enough to borrow my friend's mother's car, and my question is really whether we should order any airbnb, or pre-pay hostels or order anything from home before leaving, or if it's possible to find new (fairly cheap!) places to stay over the night from day to day? Our trip will consist of cities such as amsterdam, paris, lisabon, malaga, barcelona, nice, milano, budapest, wien, prague and berlin. (not much more is planned yet) - should we plan more really? Sorry if this is incredibly stupid, but we've never really travelled on our own before.
