Hello, I am prescribed Adderall for my ADHD. It is a necessary medication for day to day functioning.

I realize that any amphetamine is designated as an illegal substance in South Korea, as in doctors do not prescribe it and pharmacies do not stock it. I also understand that in South Korean law, even having traces of illegal substances in biological samples is a chargeable offense. I know this is true for marijuana, so I assume it will also be true for a stronger substance like amphetamine.

Given these, how does someone like myself go to South Korea? Is there a possible appeal I may file with their State Department? Has anyone had any experience declaring their medication upon arrival?
