Love solo travel, but looking for recommendations on group travel...
Though I love and appreciate solo travel, sometimes I just like to kick back and have someone else do the work for me. I also really appreciate the insight of a local guide ("the more I know, the more I see"). I've been on a few Rick Steves tours (and love the company--highly recommend it). They have great guides and also limit the groups to under 26 tourists. In my experience, though, the age of RS tours skews a bit older (55+). I'm over 35 (but under 40), and too old for the 18-35 tours. I'm wondering if anyone has had a positive experience with tour groups where there's been a fair deal of 30-somethings...I'd ideally prefer one with smaller groups (26 or fewer). I like to go out (have drinks, etc), but also interested in checking out nice museums/ landmarks etc. when traveling. Oh, and I'm also interested primarily in European travel. Thanks in advance!
