Lightweight carryon/personal backpack recommendations?
Anyone have a favorite, lightweight but dependable backpack they use for travel, around 20L or around 9”x10”x17” (personal bag size for planes)?
Most recommendations I found from other posts are made of heavy fabric. I purchased a waterproof Chrome backpack long ago and while the size is great, it is heavy and thick. I’ll only use it in wetter areas. I’m willing to just have a slightly water-resistant backpack if it means the backpack will be lighter and more breathable on the back.
I do like my Fjallraven Kanken 17”/20L backpack. It’s very lightweight, simple to use, have had 0 problems when boarding the plane, and has handlebars for when I need to carry it (like in museums). However I used it all throughout university and I now associate the brand with young adults.
