I’m in Italy! Need Advice for the Last Part of Trip
I’m currently in Italy on my first (mostly) solo European trip. I was only able to get away for 8 days total though.
So far, I’ve been to Milan, Venice, and Florence. The plan was to go to Lake Como tomorrow and then to Cinque Terre on Monday. On Tuesday, I was going to spend the last day in Milan since I’m flying out on Weds.
I’ve loved the cities that I’ve seen so far but I’m exhausted! The train rides to each place take up sooo much time. I did an overnight in Venice and Florence but I feel like I really didn’t have enough time to fully experience each city.
The part that I need help with is getting advice on changing this last leg of my trip. I was thinking of booking a hotel last minute and staying in Como for 2 nights or even until I fly out (any advice on getting to MXP from Como?). That way I can relax a little bit before I leave and actually experience Como.
My train tickets for Cinque Terre have already been purchased, however, and it was on the top of my places to see list :( My train would arrive around 11:30am and leaves around 7pm which doesn’t give me much time. I’m willing to forfeit my ticket though if you guys think I should just go with the extended Como plan.
I’m also willing to listen to any other alternate ideas!
