Doing Europe in December/January
So this will be my first time travelling, im 22, Australian, i finish my first year of University on November 16 and start in London for 3 days on December.....15th? Sounds right. then i go to Amsterdam, Berlin, Prauge, Vienna, Krakow, Budapest, Ljubljana, Venice, Rome, Florence, Swiss Alps, Paris and back to London on January 8th, so about 26 days (also Christmas il be in Vienna and New Years in Venice). So here is the thing, i booked this on a whim cause there was a convention, i got it a bit cheaper then usual through Contiki and decided "F**k it why not"? so this does not cover all the places i want to go (Hamburg, Barcelona, Lapland, Brussels, Athens, etc). Airfare is so expensive to and from Australia that i want to do as much as i can so i don't have to do airfare again for a while. I have a mate who lives in London and one who lives in Switzerland. So i have a place to stay if necessary. So the tour will most likely have a lot planned out but we do have free time, so what should i do in those cities i mentioned? I can leave from November 17th and don't have to be back till Febuary 11th so where else should i go? What else should i do and see? What should i avoid? How should i travel? Leave nothing out im up for any and all suggestions. EDIT:
