14 Day Europe Trip Starting in Brussels and possible ending in Milan??

Currently trying to plan a trip in Europe for the end of September. I have already booked my flight into Brussels but planning to stay in Bruges or Ghent instead. I'm thinking of booking my flight back into the states from Milan, as it seems to be the least expensive flight currently but i'm afraid it might be too far off and will end up rushing through my trip in 14 Days. I know for sure i want visit Paris and possible go into Germany as well and then head south into Venice and end in Milan. Would a tour like this be doable in a 14 day time frame?? Obviously I haven't decided the details of places to visit in between so suggestion would also be greatly appreciated.
