Spain or Denmark - 10 day solo, I need your help!
Hello everyone!
I've been feeling really stuck in life recently, but I can't really change much aside from taking a vacation so I've decided I want to solo travel again! I went for nearly 3 weeks over a year and a half ago to the UK and I've been itching ever since.
I was doing some research on the subreddit and I keep getting mixed signals (which will probably happen in the comments section I'm aware) but I can't decide on either to go to Spain or Denmark for about 7-10 days end of March/Early April.
I'm of Cuban descent, fluent in Spanish, which is why I thought Spain, but I've read a lot about how it can be a little unsafe for solo women, especially in the bigger cities. Mostly pick pocketing and some men being gross.
I've wanted to do a trip to Denmark for a while, and I know more of what I would want to see, but now that I've contemplated Spain for a bit I'm undecided. Also doing research, it comes across as Denmark is a bit "safer" for solo women.
There's also the money cost, going out at night alone/with anyone I meet at a hostel, and meeting locals. Sometimes I hate doing research because everything gets jumbled. Can anyone give me some insight?
