Queensland roadtrip, how long should we take??
My boyfriend and I leave for Australia on Monday. WE ARE SO EXCITED. And pretty overwhelmed as Australia is quite big and there is so much beauty to see. So naturally we are doing a road trip to see more of the country. We are planning to rent a camper van/car (we still haven't decided lol) in Cairns and drive down the coast to Brisbane. We are not constrained by time and I simply cannot figure approximately how long it will take. I'm thinking maybe 12 days? I also don't know how flexible the rentals are out there, so if you have any rental recommendations, send those my way too please! We want to spend our days snorkeling, scuba, hiking, relaxing on the beach. Not looking to take our rental into the outback. Like I said we are in no rush, so I really don't want to spend long hours in the car driving, I want to drive an hour or two, have lunch in a park, go on a hike, make dinner, and find a nice spot to watch the sunset on the beach. If you have any suggestions, much appreciated !
