Looking for travel stories for our podcast, Unmapped
Hey /r/roadtrip!
We asked the mods and they said we could reach out.
We have a travel podcast, Unmapped, and we're asking listeners and travelers to send in their stories to be included in upcoming episodes.
We'd love to hear your road trip and travel stories. All you need to do is record yourself telling a quick story on your phone or computer and send the audio file to stories@unmapped.show.
Here's what we're looking for:
Introduce yourself!
- Hi this is [NAME] from [LOCATION]
- How many road trips have you been on? Where have you been?
Tell us a short story anywhere from 30 seconds to 3 minutes, based off of one of these prompts:
- What is your craziest road trip story?
- Tell us about how you prepare for a road trip
- Describe your ideal road trip
- What is your advice to people thinking about taking on a road trip?
- Tell the story of how you fell in love with road trips
- When was a time when you learned something about yourself while travel?
- What do you look for in road trip partners?
A couple tips on recording
- If you’re out and about or doing something like making dinner, let us know. This is informal.
- The story doesn’t have to be scripted. Just tell us like you would tell your friend. You can even record it with a friend.
- Have fun with it!
